You knew this was coming, right? We work really hard to give you the BEST washcloths for sensitive skin care!
Our signature, soft flannel is an absolute dream for gentle cleansing. No abrasive textures that can irritate and inflame. Just smooth softness for even the most sensitive skin to keep it healthy and calm.
Vanicream's Lite Lotion is the one I use every day during the summer. I love it because it is free from harmful irritants, and it's moisturizing without being thick or greasy. I use it right when I get out of the shower to seal in the moisture, and wait to apply sunscreen until the lotion has set. If you want something thicker, try my favorite moisturizing cream from CeraVe (Amazon)
Vanicream Sunscreen SPF 50 is the king of all sunscreens. It offers serious coverage that you can see and feel. It is very thick, but you can feel confident about its coverage if you're concerned about protecting your skin. This is my beach-go-to-sunscreen because I burn if I even look at the sun. It protects me and allows me to sit at the beach without worrying about getting fried. I'm going to try their SPF 35 Sport sunscreen this summer and see if I like it better or just as well. If you've tried it, let me know.
Another reason to love these silk pillow cases is because they are higher quality - 25 mm Mommes - (the silk is heavier and thicker than typical silk pillowcases)
25 mm silk is generally considered premium quality — smoother and more durable than lower weights.
*Think of it like thread count in cotton — higher momme usually means better quality.

I like Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover, which is usually around $6, and is the one I use every night. It is oil free, which is important so it doesn't leave a film in my eyes, and takes make-up off easily as I wash my face.
I first wet my face and eyes a few times with my Fairface Darks washcloth and then apply the make-up remover to my eyes.
The itch of Rosacea, Eczema or other sensitive skin related annoyances can be quickly soothed and calmed with one of my favorite products: Sarna Sensitive Lotion. Although the lotion has a faint medicated smell, the sensitive option is much more mild.
Back before I was officially diagnosed with Rosacea, I would reach for anti-itch creams to stop the pesky itchy spots on my face. Little did I know anti-itch creams could actually harm my skin with over-use.
I love Sarna Sensitive lotion because it is cooling and soothing to my skin, stops the itch, does NOT contain steroids, is safe enough to use every day and doesn't clog my pores. I always have a bottle on hand.
I have personally purchased and used Eucerin products with total confidence.
Eucerin Redness Relief Cleanser is in my top 2 for gentle cleansers. The gel glides gently and feels cool against my Rosacea-prone skin. I use it with Fairface Delicates for a gentle, soothing wash.
This is the brand my Opthamologist recommended - Refresh Optive lubricated eye drops -for dry eyes. They come in single use viles, so you don't have to worry about the tip of the container getting contaminated. And they are easy to store a few in your bag when you're on the go.
They are supposed to be used throughout the day before your eyes get too dry.
I absolutely LOVE Vanicream products!
I first learned about Vanicream from my Dermatologist and took some samples home. I was a little skeptical at first, wondering if they were just a big manufacturer pushing their products through Derm offices. But I have to say, the minute I used them I fell in love instantly and never looked back.
Vanicream's Gentle Facial Cleanser really is my number 1 gentle cleanser for sensitive, Rosacea-prone skin. My skin feels clean without being dry AND because it is free of dyes, lanolin, fragrance, parabens and formaldehyde, I feel safer using it.
Eucerin's Daily Protection SPF 30 is my number 1 go-to daily sun screen. I wear it every day without fail. It is lightweight and non-greasy. I apply it to my face and wait about 10 minutes before applying my foundation. It also offers nice light-weight coverage for neck, chest, arms and hands without feeling like you're slathered in sun block.
In addition to Fairface Washcloths being our favorite skin care washcloths (you probably could have guessed that) we've also started compiling a list of some of our other favorite products for sensitive skin.
Once I started sleeping on a silk pillow case, I've never looked back! I've also given them as gifts to my mom and sisters and have made them believers in the magic of silk pillow cases!
WHY I LOVE THEM:
Not only are they great on my skin (more gentle and they don't leave creases on my face like regular cotton pillow cases do), they are also really gentle on my hair. I noticed immediately when I woke up my hair had a smoother texture and less breakage than with traditional cotton pillow cases. I LOVE these and hope you do to!
Using Johnson's Baby Shampoo on my eye lids and lashes was recommended by my ophthalmologist. He said the minute you notice your eyes starting to get a little gunky, gently wash your eyelids and lashes with a small amount of Johnson's baby shampoo.
It will help clean away plugged ducts and impurities which can help prevent your eye from getting increasingly more irritated and possibly infected.
I've tried this many times with positive results. I love this 3 pack in the small travel sized bottles so I can take one with me when I travel.
